Cherry has long been a favourite in the live set and with an EP due any minute, this is only the start of a very big year for the Dorking quartet. The track has everything you could possibly imagine in your wildest hallucinations, some cracking riffs, thunderous harmonies all of which finally swerve their way into a clattering psychedelic decline. It's an arduous task to refrain from shouting along to this flat out anthem so don't hold back and stick this on - loud.
You may already know the beloved KT King as one-fifth of Valeras but her solo work is worlds apart from the fast paced sounds of the band. A bit funky, a bit romantic I Am Ian has lyrics that put Alex Turner to shame. You may not think you need an amorous tale about a voyage to a toilet in Shoreditch but this track shall prove you ever so delightfully wrong. There's definitely an exciting solo career on the cards for KT.
