Young Artists That Are Killing It

We are increasingly seeing young artists take to the charts and make a stamp on the music industry. Here's three that have stood out to me this year:
Declan Mckenna

Declan has reached huge success after only being the young age of 18 years old. He first emerged onto the indie music scene in 2015 after winning the Glastonbury Emerging talent competition, and since then his success has grown rapidly. His debut album ‘What Do You Think About The Car?’ reached its peak position at 11 in the album charts. Something musicians much older dream of. With a tour coming up in the autumn with several dates already sold out, it shows Declan is due for even greater success.
Will Joseph Cook

At the mere age of 20, Will Joseph Cook has certainly achieved things that only others could have dreamed of. His debut album received a lot of positive response which resulted in his crowds doubling in size this past festival season. Similar to Declan McKenna, 2015 at Glastonbury was a clear turning point in Will’s career. His debut EP caught a lot of attention from the right people which has led him to playing a string of shows with strong crowds.
Rex Orange County

19 year old Rex Orange County has had masses of success, having reached over seventeen thousand followers on Twitter; he is definitely doing something right. He’s already racked up fans from the likes of Tyler the Creator, so he clearly has the right influences for progression in the music industry. His music is a mixture of R&B, electronic and contemporary jazz so his audience is already wide enough for him to branch out further.
