Marsicans 'Too Good' Review

Leeds quartet Marsicans released their first single of 2017 ‘Too Good’ and it almost might be just that. This song defines everything that Marsicans are but also what they’re not. It’ll still a head bopping song with immaculate harmonies, but the structure is something we’ve rarely seen from the four piece.

Their songs have a habit of taking the fast paced approach from the first beat, but Too Good gradually builds up to this style we all know and love. The track is carried by James Newbigging’s distinct vocals which make every Marsicans song so special, but this time with the addition of a solo debut for bassist Rob Brander which moves the song further into a different direction for the four piece.

The combination of perfect harmonies and the funky drumbeat makes this a track that will be spinning round your head for hours. The latter parts of the song showcase some unique guitar riffs which rounds this summer feel good track off perfectly.
